Epic sessions in Sweden

I have been receiving a number of emails about some epic conditions in Sweden this past weekend with tales of long drives, cold water and great waves. I always love checking out the images from the cold waters which make the SuperFreaks pop!

Deivis Paternina - Skopu

Hot Sails Maui team rider Deivis Paternina recently received his new Firelights, along with his teammates Diony, Bjorn, Paul & Julien he and will be publishing a series of freestyle move videos in the coming weeks to document the moves that matter on the PWA Freestyle tour. Despite missing the first event of the year Deivis is ready to show his moves at the next event in Fuerte.

This is what I see...

Hot Sails Maui's Chris Freeman made this sort edit before his trip to the mainland. The tittle says it all, this is his view during a session at Kanaha with some fun sized waves while using the team's new head cam. You will be seeing lots more video in the coming weeks so stay tuned.

Chasing forecasts - A Week in Tenerife

With the Canaries so close to Europe it is always worth keeping and eye out for the conditions and some cheap last minute tickets. Latvian team rider Krish has been just just that and recently he spotted a great forecast and super tickets and this is the result.

AWT HOT Update - Day #3

Another long day on the water (and on the beach for some). With just a few heats remaining in the Masters and Am fleets this morning it was quickly time for the double elimination rounds to start in all divisions. In the Am devision it was Casey who made his way through the double elimination heats and he would eventually face Chris (who made up for yesterdays hiccup and won through his two heats) in the later stages, unfortunately at the end of the day the wind died before the heat could be completed. In the Pro Division Derek advanced through this first heat with solid wave riding and jumps but his next round was stacked and he failed to advance further. In the Masters Brian was on form dominating the heats with the 5.5 Firelight.

AWT progress report - Day #2

Following the recent days of demo in California today it was time to focus on the contest, with building wind and waves it was clear at the 9am briefing that it would be a epic day of action and we got exactly that.
