Diony In Cape Verde
Here are some pics Diony sent us from Cape Verde.
He sailed impressively to come through the trials and qualify for the main event.
Unfortunately Diony came up against Kauli and Swift in his first heat of the main competition. Despite putting in an excellent performance the judges put Kauli and Swift through.
Well done Diony for an immpressive performance!
Looks like he had a lot of fun. He will be back on Maui the first week of April for the Mistral photo shoot.

Using a Spyclone?! Isn't that odd? Wouldn't he'd been better off with a Smack?
He is on either a 6.3 or 5.9m which he uses for freestyle. Very light wind.
.... Crossfire - much lighter than Smack ... looks pretty light too!
Hey, is the pic 1 air one footed? Pretty gutsy...
